In Falling by Christina Lauren, Cat has no idea that her life is about to collide with something ancient and dangerous. When she meets Brigan—an immortal with a seductive presence and supernatural powers of persuasion—sparks ignite instantly. For centuries, no one has resisted him.
Until her.
Their intense connection leads to a one-night encounter neither of them expects to mean anything more. But what should have been fleeting quickly feels inevitable—like fate pulling them together. As Cat and Brigan grow closer, they discover their bond may hold the power to break the curse that has bound him for ages… or unravel both of their worlds entirely.
This story was absolutely incredible. The writing style felt lush and immersive, and the balance of romance and heat was perfectly executed. I fell completely in love with both Cat and Brigan—their chemistry was undeniable, but it was the emotional depth beneath it that truly made the story shine.
Their love felt epic, destined, and powerful in a way that made me wish this had been a full-length novel. I would happily spend hundreds more pages in their world.
