Parking at POST Houston is available on a first-come, first-served basis with two on-site parking lots. Rates vary depending on the day of the week.
Monday–Thursday: The first 60 minutes are free. Parking over 1 hour is $5, and stays longer than 3 hours are charged up to the daily maximum of $40.
Friday–Sunday: The first 20 minutes are free. Parking over 20 minutes is $5, and parking for more than 3 hours and 20 minutes is charged up to the daily maximum of $40.
If the on-site lots are full, there are several nearby parking garages and surface lots within a short walking distance. Visitors can also easily reach POST Houston by rideshare services like Uber or Lyft, METRO bus and light rail connections, or by biking, with bike racks available nearby. With multiple transportation options, getting to POST Houston is convenient whether you’re driving, taking public transit, or exploring downtown without a car.
POST Market is home to an incredible variety of food vendors, making it feel like one giant international food hall. You can find everything from Mexican, Asian, African, Mediterranean, Italian, and American cuisine, making it the perfect spot for groups who all want something different. With so many options under one roof, it’s easy to explore new flavors or stick with your favorite comfort food.
If you have a sweet tooth, there are plenty of dessert vendors offering everything from ice cream and gelato to fresh cookies and other treats. My personal favorite is Flower & Cream, where the Biscoff Cookie ice cream is an absolute must-try.
Over the years, I’ve tried several vendors, and every meal has been delicious. Some of my favorites include the Cajun pasta from Ciccio’s Pasta, the grilled cheese from Twisted Grilled Cheese, and a juicy burger from Johnny Good Burger. No matter what you’re craving, there’s a good chance you’ll find it here.
Beyond the food, POST Market also features a full-service bar where you can grab cocktails, beer, or wine to enjoy with your meal. Depending on the day, you may also come across pop-up vendors and small local businesses selling handmade goods, clothing, artwork, and other unique items, adding even more to the experience. It’s much more than a food court—it’s a fun place to spend a few hours eating, shopping, and exploring.
The Skylawn, located at the very top of POST Houston, is one of the city’s most impressive rooftop destinations. Offering breathtaking panoramic views of the downtown Houston skyline, it’s absolutely worth making the trip upstairs. Whether you’re visiting during the day or catching the sunset, the views make for incredible photos and a relaxing place to take in the city.
The rooftop is much more than just a scenic overlook. Throughout the year, Skylawn hosts a variety of community events, including farmers markets, fitness classes like yoga and Zumba, outdoor movie nights, seasonal celebrations, and live concerts. There’s always something happening, making every visit a little different.
Skylawn is also available to rent for private events such as weddings, birthday parties, corporate gatherings, and other special celebrations. With its expansive green space and stunning skyline backdrop, it’s easy to see why it’s become one of Houston’s most unique event venues.
