Books-A-Million truly has something for every kind of reader. The store carries an incredible selection of genres, including romance, fantasy, science fiction, mystery, thrillers, nonfiction, manga, graphic novels, and children’s books. They also offer a selection of Spanish-language books, making the store accessible to even more readers.

Beyond the books, you’ll find magazines, puzzles, board games, and plenty of gifts for book lovers. There are shelves filled with coffee mugs, tumblers, bookmarks, pins, and other reading accessories, along with a fun merchandise section featuring pop culture collectibles and treats.

One of my favorite parts of the store is how they highlight popular authors and trending series with dedicated displays. During my visit, there were featured sections for Dungeon Crawler Carl, Fourth Wing, and Sarah J. Maas, making it easy to browse some of today’s most talked-about books.

If you’re looking for your next read, there are bestseller displays throughout the store, and for readers who love surprises, Books-A-Million even offers mystery book boxes, where you can pick a box and discover a random book inside.

 

Books-A-Million also keeps up with today’s reading trends by featuring a dedicated BookTok section filled with many of the most popular books on social media. For readers who enjoy more mature romance, there’s even a separate spicy romance section, making it easy to browse those titles in one place.

This was my first time visiting Books-A-Million, and I had such a great experience. With its huge selection of books, fun merchandise, bargain finds, themed displays, and even frozen yogurt inside the store, it’s a place I could easily spend hours exploring. I’ll definitely be coming back for another visit.

Bookstore Bonus 

One of the most exciting features of Books-A-Million is its impressive Bargain Books section, where you can find titles across a variety of genres for as little as $5 to around $9. It’s a great place to discover hidden gems or add to your reading list without spending a fortune.

Another fun surprise is the selection of nostalgic merchandise throughout the store. They carry unique backpacks and accessories inspired by favorites like Shrek, Hannah Montana, and The Cheetah Girls, making it a fun stop even if you’re not shopping for books.

Since the bookstore is located inside Katy Mills, there’s an extra treat waiting inside—a frozen yogurt shop located right within the bookstore. It’s the perfect place to grab a sweet snack while browsing the shelves, making your bookstore visit feel even more like a fun day out.
