The Loft offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating options, allowing guests to choose between a cozy dining experience or beautiful waterfront views. One of the highlights of the restaurant is its stunning view of the water, which creates the perfect backdrop for a relaxing meal.
The restaurant strikes a great balance between casual and trendy. Popular music plays throughout the dining area, while sports games are shown on the televisions, creating a lively yet comfortable environment. Whether you’re visiting for a casual lunch, a family dinner, or a night out with friends, the atmosphere feels welcoming and enjoyable.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, helping to make the dining experience even more pleasant. The restaurant was also very clean and well-maintained, including the restrooms, which is always a detail I appreciate when dining out.
For our appetizer course, we ordered the Cold Smoked Salmon Dip. This creamy dish featured a flavorful blend of cream cheese, brie, and parmesan cheeses mixed with onions and fresh herbs, and it was served alongside crispy tortilla chips. Priced at around $17, it was also a gluten-free option.
As someone who typically doesn’t enjoy seafood, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved this appetizer. The combination of rich cheeses balanced the salmon perfectly, creating a smooth, savory flavor that wasn’t overly fishy. As a self-proclaimed cheese lover, I think the generous blend of cheeses really helped elevate the dish and bring all of the flavors together. It was the perfect appetizer for sharing and a great way to start the meal.
While The Loft is primarily known for its seafood offerings, the menu provides plenty of options for guests who may not be seafood lovers. In addition to fresh seafood dishes, diners can choose from a variety of burgers, wraps, salads, and bowls, ensuring there is something for everyone at the table.
The restaurant also offers an extensive drink menu featuring both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, making it easy to find the perfect pairing for your meal.
Families will appreciate the dedicated kids’ menu, which includes favorites such as chicken tenders, a cheese quesadilla, fish and chips, a burger, and mac and cheese. Each children’s meal is served with a side, making it a great value for families dining together.
For those looking for a deal, The Loft hosts a daily Happy Hour from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Food specials start at just $9, while select drinks are available for $6. Popular Happy Hour offerings include the Loft Burger, salmon cakes, Baja tacos, and more, providing a great opportunity to sample some of the restaurant’s favorites at a lower price.
The only downside to note is that the menu prices reflect cash payments. Guests paying with a credit or debit card should be aware that a 3.5% card processing fee is added to the final bill.
For our entrées, we ordered the Maui Sliders, Fish and Chips, and the Salmon Caesar Wrap, giving us a chance to sample a variety of offerings from The Loft’s menu.
The Maui Sliders featured tender pulled pork topped with the restaurant’s house-made spicy pickled pineapple slaw and Polynesian sauce. The pork was flavorful and juicy, while the Polynesian sauce added a nice touch of sweetness. Although I wasn’t personally a fan of the pineapple slaw, my mom absolutely loved it and thought it complemented the sliders perfectly. Overall, the sliders were delicious and ended up being one of my favorite dishes of the meal.
My brother chose the Fish and Chips, which allows guests to select either cod or Alaskan halibut. The dish was served with crispy fries and a house-made tartar sauce. He thoroughly enjoyed his meal, and the fish looked perfectly fried with a light, golden coating.
My mom ordered the Salmon Caesar Wrap, which featured salmon, house-made Caesar dressing, crispy romaine lettuce, and a three-cheese blend wrapped in a sun-dried tomato tortilla. The wrap was served with a side of fries. She really enjoyed the combination of flavors and thought it was a satisfying and flavorful entrée.
One thing I appreciated about our meal was that everyone at the table found something they enjoyed. Whether you’re craving seafood or looking for something a little different, The Loft offers a variety of options that can satisfy different tastes and preferences.
