Hours of Operation:
Bella Italia is a small, cozy restaurant with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes guests feel welcome from the moment they walk through the door. The restaurant features a charming dining area along with a nice bar section, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed dinner or special night out.
Because the restaurant is on the smaller side and has a limited number of tables, reservations are highly recommended, especially during peak dining hours. If you’re unable to secure a reservation, arriving when the restaurant opens is your best chance of getting a table without a long wait. Bella Italia offers indoor seating only, which adds to its intimate and cozy feel.
The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. They were happy to answer questions, provide recommendations, and ensure guests had an enjoyable dining experience. Their welcoming service added to the restaurant’s cozy atmosphere and made the meal even more enjoyable.
Another detail worth mentioning is how clean and well-maintained the restaurant is. The restrooms were spotless during our visit, reflecting the staff’s attention to detail and commitment to providing a pleasant dining experience for guests.
To start our meal, we ordered a few appetizers that were perfect for sharing. First was Bella’s Meatballs ($9), served with rich marinara sauce and topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese. The meatballs were tender, flavorful, and a great way to kick off the meal.
We also tried the Bruschetta ($14), which featured fresh tomatoes, garlic, basil, and olive oil piled high on toasted bread. The combination of fresh ingredients created a light and refreshing appetizer with plenty of flavor and a satisfying crunch from the toasted bread.
To round out the starters, we ordered a small Caesar salad ($9).
The menu offers a wide variety of Italian dishes, making it easy for everyone to find something they’ll enjoy. Classic favorites such as chicken parmesan, fettuccine Alfredo, spaghetti, and other pasta dishes are available, alongside a selection of more elevated entrées. For those looking beyond pasta, the menu also features options like beef tenderloin and smoked duck, providing a nice variety of flavors and dining experiences. Most entrées are reasonably priced, typically ranging from $15 to $25, making it a great option for a quality meal without breaking the bank.
The drink menu is equally extensive, with a range of both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages to complement your meal. To finish off the experience, the restaurant offers an impressive dessert menu filled with decadent treats that are perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth after dinner.
For my entrée, I ordered Bella’s Mushroom Ravioli ($24), one of the restaurant’s most popular dishes and a must-try for Twilight fans. This creamy mushroom ravioli is inspired by the meal Bella Swan orders in the novel, making it a fun choice for anyone visiting Bella Italia because of its connection to the series. The ravioli was rich, flavorful, and perfectly comforting, with a creamy sauce that complemented the mushrooms beautifully.
One of the highlights of my meal was the lavender lemonade. It was incredibly fresh, refreshing, and packed with flavor. The subtle floral notes from the lavender paired perfectly with the tart lemonade, making it one of the best specialty drinks I’ve had in a long time.
My mom and brother both ordered the Chicken Parmesan ($28), which was served alongside fettuccine Alfredo and zucchini. The chicken was generously portioned and topped with marinara sauce and melted cheese, while the creamy Alfredo pasta and tender zucchini rounded out the meal. They both thoroughly enjoyed their dishes, and the large portions made it feel like a great value for the price.
